I love reading reviews. I rarely buy anything over 50 dollars without reading reviews first.. I must say this product got mixed reviews so I was a bit scared to spend the 70 plus dollars but I decided if it would help get my floor mopping chores done faster then I was in.
I purchased this product and LOVE IT!! As a mother of twins toddlers, who are messy eaters which equals a messy hardwood floor after every meal, I have to mop the floor after every meal.. and this product makes that chore quick, clean, and easy! I can not say enough good things about this steam floor mop. It uses only water, which is fine with me, but if I want to add shine to my hardwood floor using a cleaning/floor shine product then I just squirt the floor cleaner on the floor and run my steam mop over it like I would normally with a regular mop and I have a quick, clean, SHINY floor.
It is light weight and easy to store. The only down falls some might think of this mop is there is no ON/OFF switch on the mop. You have to unplug it to turn the steam mop off and the cord can get in your way while mopping. If you have a large floor then you might have to unplug it from one outlet and into another to get the whole area. Besides those minor things I think this mop saves me time and energy, plus I get a clean floor!
Tip: You must dampen the cleaning pad before putting it on the mop. It just makes "getting started" easier.
