The steam button started sticking after about 6 months of use.
Forcing it up would fix it for a while until it was stuck for good.
Then the button that ramps up the heat got to where it wouldn't work unless you banged it or tipped it on its side.
It also leaked a bit.
I'm starting to think a key to leaking is to "not" fill them when they are empty and hot... the sudden cold water on the plates is just too much.
After about 2 months, it became a wrestling match.. thats when I replaced it.
When "it worked", it worked great!... just didn't' last long.
